"Wake Up, It's Raining" is primarily a musical project rooted in personal experimentation, at-home recording, and exploration. The music here is mostly guitar driven with roots in emo, slowcore, folk, and increasingly shoegaze. As of right now, everything that has been recorded and released has all been played by one person. "Wake Up, It's Raining" is a phrase that I wrote in my notebook years ago. I cannot quite remember the original context anymore and I'm quite okay with that.

My name is Billy. I'm a musician and designer living in the New York. I own a small record label called Nothing to Exist where I put out physical releases of my friends' and my music. I play in other bands as well. Perhaps you can find out who those are on your own.
